P2VPN for macOS
Use your P2VPN subscription on a Mac with a compatible third-party client. Happ provides official macOS downloads; the steps below use its subscription-import flow.
What you need
- A Mac supported by the client’s current macOS build.
- Working internet access and an active P2VPN trial or paid subscription.
- Your personal subscription link from the P2VPN bot.
Install a compatible VPN client
Select macOS on your subscription page, or visit the official Happ download page. It links to macOS App Store and desktop installer options. Choose the build compatible with your Mac and its current system version.
Install and open the client using the developer’s instructions. P2VPN does not own Happ. If macOS prevents the app from opening, consult the developer’s guidance rather than disabling system security protections.
Copy your P2VPN subscription link
Open “My subscription” in the P2VPN bot, then open your personal subscription page on the Mac. Use its copy option to obtain the complete subscription link.
Keep the link private. Use the supplied backup link if the main subscription page is unavailable.
Import the subscription

Choose the add-to-app option and allow the browser to open the installed client.
Import from the clipboard if needed
If the app does not open, use Happ’s add-subscription option and import the personal link from the clipboard. Exact menu labels can vary.
Choose a server
Wait for your server list to load and select a P2VPN route. Refresh the subscription configuration if its list is out of date.
Enable VPN
Start the connection and approve the VPN or network configuration request shown by macOS. Follow the instructions for your installed build; App Store and desktop builds can expose different controls.
If your desktop client offers system proxy and TUN, system proxy serves applications that honor proxy settings. TUN uses a virtual network interface, with coverage determined by routing rules and exclusions. Check the client’s instructions before changing modes, then reconnect.
Check the connection
Wait for the connected status, open a website and test the Mac apps you intend to use. With system proxy, a working browser does not show that every other app uses the same route.
If connection settings were changed, reconnect before testing. For DNS and routing limitations, read the security page.
Troubleshooting on macOS
The client cannot create the VPN connection
Check whether macOS is waiting for a configuration or permission prompt. Disconnect any other active VPN and retry. If the prompt or error is unclear, contact support with the macOS version and client build.
VPN is connected, but an app cannot reach the internet
Check ordinary connectivity with the VPN disconnected. Then try another server and inspect whether the app is included by the chosen proxy or tunnel mode. Routing exclusions can affect apps differently.
My subscription does not update
Confirm the subscription is active in the bot and refresh its configuration in the client. If the main subscription page cannot be reached, use your supplied backup link. Updating the list does not renew an expired plan.
The connection is slow or fails after a mode change
Disconnect and reconnect after changing routing or connection mode. Try another server or method and compare ordinary internet performance. Share the client version and error text with support, removing personal links from any screenshot.
